Miller Gulch Project

This was a stewardship partnership project targeting fuels reduction near communities in dangerous, severe fire corridors. The project aimed to restore balanced resilient ecological conditions to an area that has suffered multiple catastrophic fires in the past 20 years.

872-acre mechanical treatment project targeting thinning and removal of continuous canopy old-growth Ponderosa Pine forest. Project treatment achieved severe wildfire corridor disruption, preservation of new growth Ponderosa, and critical Front Range municipal watershed protection.
